Do you charge a fee for your help?

Is this Obamacare?

Yes. Obamacare, ACA plans and Marketplace plans are the same thing: the individual and family coverage sold through HealthCare.gov under the Affordable Care Act. Those are the plans we help with, for people under age 65.

Can I get help paying my premium?

Accepted Answer

You may qualify for premium tax credits depending on your household income and eligibility. Not everyone qualifies, and the amount varies by household. We help you check what applies to you.

Can I keep my current doctor?

It depends on the plan, not the carrier. We help you check your doctors against each plan's network before you decide. Networks can change, so it is also worth confirming with the doctor's office.

When can I enroll?

Open enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1, 2026–January 15, 2027. Enroll by December 15 for coverage beginning January 1. Enroll from December 16 through January 15 for coverage beginning February 1. Outside open enrollment, certain life events may qualify you for a Special Enrollment Period.

What if my income changes during the year?

Report it to the Marketplace as soon as you know. If you receive premium tax credits, they are based on an estimate of your annual income, and updating it during the year is usually easier than settling a big difference at tax time.

I missed open enrollment. Is that it?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Certain life events, such as losing other coverage, moving, getting married or having a child, may qualify you for a Special Enrollment Period. The window is short and usually needs documents, so it is worth checking quickly.

Most households finish in one sitting once the information is gathered. The delay is nearly always hunting for an income figure or a policy number halfway through the application.

No. ZAVIA Health Insurance LLC is the DBA and marketing name used by Muawia Abdalla – Licensed North Carolina Insurance Producer – NPN 21286424. Plans are issued and underwritten by insurance companies. ZAVIA is not an insurance company.
